The view alone is worth a visit, and it is located very close to East Tarpon Avenue/Keystone Road in Tarpon, a main East/West thoroughfare.
Always well-kept it offers a children’s play area, a covered picnic area, several picnic tables on the lot and benches for sitting to watch the children at play or for expansive views of the Lake toward the South. There is a pier from which to watch the boats and other aquatic activity or perhaps do a little fishing. No swimming is allowed but there is space to launch your kayak or canoe but nothing larger. It was later in the afternoon when we visited, thus the long shadows cast from the West. This is a quiet little place, a destination to just relax, enjoy the scenery and let the clouds float by. |
