This flat .6-mile loop weaves through sun and shade. If you are more of a leisurely walker and just enjoy being out in nature as we are, then this park is also perfect for you. It is dog friendly as well. From the parking area you will pass the basketball courts, the tennis area and the children’s playground area. There are benches and picnic tables for a place to rest and ruminate on the wonders of nature and how blessed we are to have these beautiful parks so close by. Continue along the path, across the bridge and enjoy this stretch in the sun with the meadow to your one side and Curlew Road (which you are safely away from) on your other side. How many times have we passed by this beautiful park not knowing it was there? It is paved all the way and suitable for walkers and wheelchairs for as long or as short a walk as you wish. Niki used her mobility scooter and said this park belongs on her favorites list. We do think you might enjoy it as well. |
