Hidden in plain sight beside busy Gulf to Bay where it meets equally busy McMullen Booth at the Bayside Bridge. Just the place to get away from it all. Bring your lunch, your book and just chill and let the world go by.

“Harbored underneath an historic oak grove, Bayview Park offers a chance to experience a Florida rarely found in this area. Inside the park, there is over a half mile of nature trail, picnic areas, a beach overlook and an abundance of native vegetation and wildlife. Few places allow you to experience so much in such a small locality and serve as an escape.

Created to protect the native landscape, Bayview has everything from native vegetation to local wildlife. A trip into Bayview Park is a trip across the Florida landscape offering samples of the various ecosystems found throughout the Sunshine State. From wetlands to a one-hundred-year-old oak forest, the dynamic landscape will keep a plant and wildlife enthusiast coming back for more.”

At the corner of NE Coachman and Old Coachman at the railroad tracks. The cabin was moved to Heritage Village in Largo I believe.I live next to the McMullen Cemetary and have spoke with the oldest living son who provided some history. Nancy McMullen Meador wrote a book on the history of the area as well I think. Here is a good link of Bayview history. Ashame they put those hideous apartments up nearby https://www.ghosttowns.com/.../bayview-pinellascounty.html
